Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure management
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
- Implement security best practices across our systems
- Manage and optimize database systems
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system reliability
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Understanding of networking concepts and security practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Experience with database administration
