Role Overview

We are looking for Cloud Infrastructure Engineers with expertise in Pulumi, skilled in either Python or TypeScript, to design, deploy, and manage modern, scalable cloud infrastructure. You’ll work hands-on with the Pulumi SDK and CLI to build reusable infrastructure components and maintain high-quality, testable Infrastructure-as-Code across environments.

This role will have you collaborating across DevOps and engineering teams to improve cloud automation pipelines, troubleshoot complex stack issues, and ensure robust infrastructure delivery using Pulumi’s IaC platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure as code using Pulumi with TypeScript or Python
• Write reusable code modules using TypeScript abstractions or Python classes for cloud resource provisioning
• Use Pulumi CLI commands (pulumi up, pulumi preview, pulumi destroy) for stack lifecycle management
• Manage and integrate Pulumi stack outputs into application pipelines and workflows
• Implement testing for infrastructure code using Jest/Mocha (TypeScript) or pytest (Python)
• Debug infrastructure issues using Pulumi diagnostic tools and CLI logs
• Maintain environment dependencies using npm (TypeScript) or pip/venv (Python)
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment automation and CI/CD integration
• Document infrastructure workflows and best practices for team-wide visibility and scale

Required Skills

2+ years of hands-on experience with Pulumi using either Python or TypeScript
• Proficiency in one of:
TypeScript SDK: interfaces, types, classes, generics, Node.js, npm
Python SDK: scripting, OOP, venv, pip, virtualenv
• Familiarity with Pulumi stack management workflows and CLI operations
• Experience in writing infrastructure tests using appropriate frameworks (Jest/Mocha for TypeScript, pytest for Python)
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot infrastructure deployments in real-time
• Experience integrating Pulumi outputs into pipelines or workflows
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

• Integration experience with AWS SDK (Boto3) for Python-based automation
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform
• Understanding of cloud security, high availability, and cost optimization
